VCMud (VoidCascadeMUD) has been purpose-crafted to feel like you are in command of a spacecraft, flying through space. There's a catch however: You're taking on this experience from the seat of a command console, deep within your spacecraft, safe from the vacuum outside.

Your time within the Void Cascade universe will be spent issuing commands to your spacecrafts command interface, and waiting for them to finish. Things such as jumping between systems, or warping between sites will take time based on how far you are going. You'll have to command your ship to approach an asteroid, and wait for it to be close enough to mine it. In the mean time, you'll be plotting out how you plan to leave your mark on the universe.
